Placed next to the King David Hotel and near the busiest Art and Shopping center
Jaffa Gate and the Mamila Mall it has a feet of showrooms.

 

LKG Gallery Founded by Lucien Krief in the late 1980's, has acquired a worldwide recognition as being among the finest sources of Modern and Contemporary Art and classical Jewish and Israeli Fine Art, antique Judaica and silver. In addition, Mr. Krief, an accomplished painter and sculptor, promotes other artists and aids collectors in the development of their private collections. During the last three years the Gallery has undergone a face lift and nowadays
put on show a varied mixture of contemporary Art as well as more classical works by Marc Chagall, Reuven Rubin, Moise Kisling and Mordechai Ardon etc.

Lucien Krief is a distinguished French Postwar & Contemporary sculptor, renowned for his artistic expertise and profound knowledge of European art and the School of Paris. Born in 1961, he has left an indelible mark on the art world through his remarkable sculptures and visionary approach.
As a true artist at heart, Lucien Krief founded the Krief Gallery over two decades ago, which has since become a beacon of success. With an unwavering commitment to showcasing exceptional works of art, the gallery has earned a well-deserved reputation as a leading destination for art enthusiasts.
In 2008, Lucien Krief expanded his artistic pursuits by acquiring the Matza auction house, establishing the only International Auction House that conducts sales in Israel. Situated near the iconic King David Hotel in Jerusalem, this venture has significantly contributed to the promotion and appreciation of art in the region.
Recognizing the importance of embracing contemporary art, Krief Gallery underwent a transformation in recent years. While specializing in European and Jewish art, the gallery has actively pursued the development and investment in contemporary art. This dedication led to the inauguration of a new space in January 2019, solidifying the gallery's commitment to fostering innovation and creativity within the art world.
