Located near the historic King David Hotel, the gallery brings together carefully curated works by renowned Israeli and international artists, offering collectors meaningful artworks that connect culture, history, and contemporary vision.
Today, the gallery presents a carefully curated selection of contemporary artworks alongside masterpieces by celebrated artists including Marc Chagall, Mane Katz, Pissarro's Family, Reuven Rubin, Moïse Kisling, Mordechai Ardon, Yaacov Agam, Menashe Kadishman and many others. Lucien Krief - Founder & Curator

Lucien Krief is a French Postwar and Contemporary sculptor, recognized for his deep knowledge of European art and the School of Paris. Born in 1961, his lifelong passion for art has shaped both his artistic career and his vision as a curator.

In 1984, Lucien founded Krief Gallery in Jerusalem, creating a space dedicated to exceptional works of Judaica, Israeli, European, and contemporary art. In 2008, he expanded his vision by acquiring Matsart Auction House, one of Israel's leading international auction houses, located near the iconic King David Hotel.

Driven by a commitment to both heritage and innovation, the gallery continues to evolve, combining its rich expertise in classical and Jewish art with a growing focus on contemporary artistic expression. Through his work as an artist, curator, and collector, Lucien Krief continues to build meaningful connections between artworks, artists, and collectors around the world.
