Yaacov Agam 1928-2026
Agam is an internationally acclaimed Israeli artist and a pioneer of kinetic and optical art. Renowned for his innovative use of movement, color, and light, Agam creates dynamic works that transform with the viewer’s perspective, challenging the traditional concept of static art.
Born in Rishon LeZion, Israel, Agam studied at the Bezalel Academy of Arts and Design in Jerusalem before continuing his education in Zurich and Paris, where he established his international career.
