Paul Aizpiri (1919-2016)

Paul Aïzpiri was a French painter and sculptor, born in Paris in 1919. Renowned for his optimistic spirit, he expressed joy and vitality through vibrant colors, bold compositions, and energetic, unrestrained brushstrokes.

His distinctive style combined elements of Fauvism, Expressionism, and Cubism, creating works that are both lively and harmonious. Aïzpiri often painted Parisian street scenes, landscapes, still lifes, musicians, and floral compositions, all infused with warmth, charm, and a strong sense of movement.
