Moshe Tamir was a Russian-born Israeli painter.

He won several honorary prizes, among them the Herman Struck Prize in 1947, the Prize for a Young Artist in 1949 and the Prize for Graphic Art in 1961. On the same year he participated in the Sao Paulo Biennale. Tamir had died in 2004.
